Favorite Adventure Shorts of 2012

A Desert Life
Beautiful shots and music cultivate this story about someone living life on their own terms, and doing what they love. In this case, climbing Indian Creek style.

A Story for Tomorrow
Fun film centered around a trekking trip to Chile. Will put a smile on your face.

Searching for West
A long short-film about goals, and sometimes having to sacrifice those goals. Set in Montana, this had a massive budget, and it shows with superb footage.

Logan Traverse
Best trip of the year, in the best style. While the film is a little rough, it's anything but staged. Which is more then can be said for a number of these shorts.

SJ3 EP1: Japan
Jordan Manley is at it again. And as always, his ski films are not about the skiing or pro skiers. They're about places. Creative pow cinematography is a bonus.

Shattered
Welcome to Steve House's mind. This film is slow and powerful and inspiring.

Dungeons & Dragons & Bitches
For the dice-rolling adventurer, and the rest of us who use to be.
